WealthPulse is a personal wealth tracking app designed with privacy at its core. This policy explains exactly what data the app accesses, where it goes, and how it is handled.
Your portfolio data — including assets, snapshots, exchange rates, and settings — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data is not uploaded to any server. If you choose to export your asset list (Markdown export), the export is generated on-device and shared only through the iOS share sheet to apps you select.
WealthPulse does not require an account. There is no cloud sync, no mandatory sign-up, and no remote database storing your financial information.
WealthPulse makes the following outbound network requests:

No personal data, device identifiers, or financial values are sent in exchange rate or market price requests.
WealthPulse supports Face ID / Touch ID to protect access to the app. Biometric data is handled entirely by Apple's LocalAuthentication framework and never leaves your device. WealthPulse does not access or store any biometric information.
When the app moves to the background, a privacy blur is automatically applied to protect your financial data in the App Switcher, regardless of whether biometric lock is enabled.
Local data: Stored on your device only. Deleting the app removes all data.
WealthPulse is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
